Film Garden Wedding
This wedding may have been short and sweet, but the length of this post will probably have you believe otherwise! Danna and Gib‘s film garden wedding was on a sunny day in UNC’s Coker Arboretum. I have countless happy memories in this beautiful garden from undergrad, but none quite like this.
As a military man, Gib only had a few months to pop the question and get married before being deployed. Less than two months after asking Danna to be his wife, the two were married, surrounded by their families and an abundance of colorful flowers. Their traditional Jewish ceremony was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve been a part of. Each family member gave their blessing, words of advice or expressed their deep love for this amazing couple. As you’ll see, these families are happy criers and I wouldn’t have it any other way :)
After a round of celebratory tequila shots and cake by my sweet friend, Sugar Euphoria, Danna, Gib and I wandered around the campus that Danna once called home. Students on their way to class congratulated them, and Danna’s white dress and bride/princess status captivated a group of elementary schoolers on a field trip. It was a perfect filled with some of the happiest people I’ve met!
Danna and Gib, I can’t thank you enough for inviting me to be a part of such a beautiful day. Congratulations!!
Update: So excited to see this sweet day featured on Ruffled!
