Valensole Lavender

Continuing the France adventures today! During our visit to the Provence area, Brendan and I took a day to check something off my bucket list. There are no words for how beautiful this day was – the lavender fields of Valensole are just as magical in person as they look in pictures. Brendan and I spent a morning driving around this region made famous by the beautiful purple blooms that spread for miles every summer. I had always wanted to visit Valensole, so I was so excited when I finally had the chance! We (accidentally) drove off the beaten path for a bit and found ourselves far away from all the tour buses – dream come true! If you ever have the chance to wander around this area, I highly recommend it! We visited the end of June, right at the beginning of lavender season and it was perfect.
