Downtown Wilmington Engagement Session

Nearly a year after booking me for their wedding, I finally got to meet the lovely Kristyn and Corey for their Downtown Wilmington engagement session – two nights before they said “I do!” Normally, I try and schedule engagement sessions well before the wedding day, but with these two living in DC, travel schedules and such, the only time we could make it work was when they were in town for all the wedding festivities. And honesty, I kind of love that. With anticipation at an all-time high (only 48 hours to go!), I loved getting to meander around the quiet streets of our sweet downtown getting to know them a little more. It was relaxed, fun, uncomfortably hot and absolutely beautiful. I think the last set of images might be taken in the dreamiest light to ever hit Wilmington! I’m already itching to photograph in this area again – thanks for exploring with me you two!
