Last fall I had one of the best weekends ever. One of my closest friends, Paige, and I over-packed our bags and headed up to New York City to visit our friends, Colleen and Katy. We ate a ton of great food, wore the soles on our shoes and changed our outfits about 6 times each before ever leaving Colleen’s apartment in the heart of Brooklyn. We meandered through Eataly, an Italian paradise filled with the most delicious things. Bread + cheese + wine = a happy Emily. I was in heaven. I’ve visited Manhattan several times, but this was my first visit to the hipster capitol of America, Brooklyn. Katy, one of my oldest friends and the maid of honor in my wedding, moved there the summer after we graduated, and this was the first time I’d been able to visit her up there. Naturally, I brought all my cameras and lugged them around the city, making everyone stop ever 10 feet because there was something or someone I wanted to take a picture of. I might share some of my digital pictures, but for now I wanted to share one of the rolls of film I took while up there and recently got developed. You may have followed along with our adventures via Instagram, but here are a few of my favorite film images from such a great weekend!
