Where do I even begin with this wedding and the two incredible people who invited me up to Richmond to be a part of it? Shelley and Bryan are a marvelous couple. From the first time I met Shelley over coffee to celebrating with her and her new husband, I have loved walking through the season of engagement with these two. Their Tuckahoe Plantation wedding was beautiful in every way, from the history to their Scripture-laden vows to the little jars on the long banquet tables at their reception. Tuckahoe is the childhood home of Thomas Jefferson (must have been a sweet place to grow up!), and Shelley is a decedent of Jefferson himself. Pretty cool, right?? Shelley and Bryan honored not only their families with the celebration of their marriage, but they also had a day that reflected the greatness of their Lord and how He loves his children. It was incredible and so much fun to be a part of such a beautiful day, and from start to finish, I just couldn’t believe that this was my job. Shelley and Bryan, y’all are more than clients, you’re friends! I’m so excited for this new journey you’re on and wish you both the best!
Literally almost died when I found this picture of Shelley’s brother. GEM.
