I met Marla and Tyler early, early one morning for their vineyard engagement session. Sunrise light is a beautiful thing, y’all. Marla and Tyler have a genuine sweetness about them that is unmistakeable. Their engagement session was the first time I’d met them, and by the end of their session, I felt like I’d known them for years. You can tell by the way Tyler looks at Marla that he’s completely smitten, and she has a subtle grace that complements his strength so well. As we wandered through rows of vines (with 2-3 farm dogs joining us) we chatted about their wedding at Raffaldini Vineyards this fall, how wedding planning had been going and how excited they were to be husband and wife. I, of course, kept exclaiming “Oh my gosh, this liiight youuu guysss!! I’m dyyyinggg it’s so prettty!!” But with each passing moment, despite my outbursts of uncontrollable giddiness, I kept seeing bits and pieces of what made this pair of high school sweethearts at home with each other. Their affection is effortless and their joy for this season and the season to come is natural. Marla and Tyler, y’all are just the best! I can’t wait to wander through sun-laden vineyards with you again at your wedding!!
