I love thee two people so much, guys. One of the greatest gifts marriage has given me as been the gift of siblings! I’m an only child, but when I married Brendan, I gained two brothers and two sisters – hello dream come true! Emily and Ryan are stellar people who welcomed me into the family on day one. They both have amazing senses of humor, are wonderfully weird and have generous hearts that love well. They have been beautiful examples of Christlikeness and faithfulness, and I can’t begin to count the number of things I’ve learned from them over the past few years. I’ve always felt like I can be completely myself around them, and it’s something I’m so grateful for!
While we were all in Austria and Germany last summer, Emily and Ryan celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary! Naturally, I took some pictures :) These were taken at Lake Eibsee in Austria, a gem hidden away in the Tyrol Mountain region. After a day of lounging by the lake and realizing that even though 60-degree lake water is freezing to our touch, it is not nearly cold enough to chill beer, we wandered around and I played with some film with these two. The happiest thing about these pictures is that only a few months later, Emily and Ryan found out they were having a baby! My little nephew will make his grand debut in the next few weeks, and I’m so excited to see them step into the role of parents. They are going to rock it!
Love you both oh so much! Can’t wait to meet your little man/cry buckets when he’s finally here!

Also, I died laughing when I got this image below back. It pretty much sums up Emily’s weirdness in one picture.
