Say hello to my amazing spring intern, Tiffany! Tiffany is a freshman at UNC and an all-around fun person. If there’s one thing these pictures tell you it’s that Tiffany is full of JOY. I could tell immediately from when I read her application (which literally made me laugh out loud) that Tiffany is one of the most joyful, funny and passionate people you’ll meet. She’s a lover of puns, Jesus and ice cream, so she’s clearly a girl after my own heart! I’ve loved having her in the office over the last few weeks, and she’s been such a fun person to have along at my senior sessions! I’m so excited to have Tiffany join my little team and assist at a few of my weddings this summer with Morgan. You can get to know Tiffany a little more below!

Where are you from?
Mooresville, North Carolina
Why do you love photography?
Because it lets you choose what’s important. By choosing what goes into the frame of a picture, I get to tell the viewer what I think is worth looking at. Also, through a camera I have the ability to see things that my eyes miss, so that’s pretty cool.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Okay okay ice cream is my favorite food so this is unfair. But The Tonight Dough from Ben&Jerry’s rocks my taste buds. To keep it simple, I’ll say chocolate chip cookie dough. Or Moose Tracks.
What are you most excited about for 2015?
For 2015, I am most excited about serving on summer staff at Saranac Village in NY (a young life camp). After that…I’ll be most excited about coming back to Chapel Hill!
What are you passionate about?
Passions. That’s hard. I would say first and foremost I’m passionate about people: making someone feel important is basically the best thing ever. I love hearing about people’s lives, talking to people, and learning better ways to interact with different people. I also would say I’m passionate about learning (which is similar); I will sit and learn about anything. The concept of information blows my mind. I want to learn new things forever.
What is your weirdest habit?
Welp I have a lot of weird habits. I have to rub my toothpaste into my toothbrush with my finger before I brush my teeth, I put on deodorant probably eight times a day, I paint my nails and pick off the nail polish (…repeat…) at least four times a week….*insert more weird things that I can’t think of right now.* WeirdEST? I guess that’s for you to decide. Maybe the toothpaste. That’s weird.
What is your favorite color?
Orange!!!!
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I used to answer this question with “Nebraska!” because I had never ever ever met anyone from Nebraska and it was like a giant mystery to me. But now, I have met (and am dating?) someone from Nebraska so it’s not as mysterious. Now I’d say the Middle East, somewhere in the Iran/Afghanistan/India region. I just feel like I’ll never get a random opportunity to go there and I want to so badly…so if I had an offer to go anywhere it’d be there.
What excites you most about this internship?
Marriage excites me, weddings excite me, learning about my camera excites me, learning about business excites me, but I think how excited you are to SERVE people by photographing and interacting with them motivates me more than anything else! Working with someone who is so passionate about the entire process of her job and who does it so that the Lord will be glorified. Because that’s HYPE and all I could ask for in a job.
