After living in Chapel Hill for eight years, it was often tough to find places that I had never shot before. While there are some places (ahem, Merritt’s Pasture) that are fresh and new-feeling every time I visit them, shooting in new places is such an inspiring and exciting part of what I do. I was so happy when Tyler suggested Raleigh’s WRAL Azalea Gardens for her film bridal portraits this past May since I had never had a session there! Bunches of hydrangeas bloomed everywhere you looked – which was perfect for making a quick bouquet for the bride-to-be! Between the golden sunlight, simple lace details on Tyler’s dress and natural beauty of these gardens, I don’t think we could have asked for a perfect setting for these pictures. Tyler married her college sweetheart last month, and I’m so excited for you to see her looking even lovelier on her wedding day!
