Hillsborough Film Wedding
There’s a lot I could share about Crystie and Mike’s wedding day. I could talk about their long cake table lined with sweets or the heirloom table that paid homage to the strong marriages of their family’s past and present. I could describe how, despite blazing heat, these two were troopers and trekked wherever I told them to for their pictures. I could tell you about the incredible lace detailing of Crystie’s gown and how I loved the color of her bridesmaids’ dresses.
Instead, I’d rather talk about how these two just get it. They get what a wedding day is about. Cakes and flowers and pretty chairs are great (I LOVE photographing them) and make the celebration unique, but these two never strayed from the knowledge and conviction that their wedding day was about their marriage. The first day of a life spent loving each other the way the Lord loves them. It was beautiful to witness Crystie and Mike’s prayer together before their ceremony and to see the sheer joy on his face as she walked down the aisle. Moments like that are the heartbeat of what I do, and I never tire of seeing them. And, I say this having seen some truly incredible receptions, their dance party was hands down the best.
Crystie and Mike, y’all are stellar individually and even more amazing together. I’m excited for this new adventure and to see how the Lord uses your marriage! Congrats guys!!
