Oh these pictures make my heart so happy! Becca and David are two friends of ours here in Santa Rosa, and I’m so grateful that I got to document their sweet Sonoma maternity session! Becca announced her pregnancy shortly after we met them last summer, and it’s been so fun to see them through such an exciting season. This was my first session shooting black and white film on my Contax (even though I’ve had it for like 3 years!), and it’s safe to say I’m hooked! There’s a certain timelessness to them that I just love. I’ll definitely need to start shooting more of it. Baby Joel made his debut just a week after these pictures were taken, and he is SO cute! I’ll be sharing his newborn pictures soon, but for now, enjoy these wonderfully sun-drenched portraits of one of my favorite couples.
