Oh my goodness y’all, there are no words to describe how much I loved Mitch and Taylor’s Seattle engagement session! Brendan and I spent a few days in this cozy city last fall during our interview travels and one of my favorite things about Seattle, besides the abundance of delicious coffee and tasty treats at Pike Place Market, is the fact that these two incredible people live there. I’ll be shooting Mitch and Taylor’s wedding in Charleston this May, so it was such a treat getting to photograph them in the city they call home. These two are remarkably kind and generous, always ready for an adventure and made us feel so welcome the whole time we were with them. We took their pictures just north of downtown in Discovery Park and, no joke, it was the windiest session I have ever had. I’m no judge for wind speed, but there was a lot of it and I swear it was coming from every direction so Taylor’s hair just went insane. I, of course, was giddily hopping everywhere, over tall grass and drift wood praying that I didn’t fall in the ocean or something. Even if I had fallen in the ocean, it would have been SO worth it because every second of their session was what I love about my job – wonderful people in love in an epic location. Dream come true! This was my last engagement session of the year, and I really can’t imagine going out on a better note!
Taylor and Mitch – y’all are so great! Thank for being the best hosts ever! B and I can’t wait for your big day!!
