It’s really handy having pretty friends who have cute children, live 3 blocks away and aren’t camera shy. Kate is one of those friends (and also a super talented photographer). A few months back, a previous client gave me a heads up that the lavender was in bloom at a nearby winery, so I texted Kate, we grabbed our cameras and were off! She took new headshots of me and I took some fun pictures of her and her kiddos. The light was perfect, the lavender smelled amazing and the hat I bought years ago with a shoot like this in mind had finally reached its full potential. I was happy when these pictures were taken and even happier when the scans kit my inbox. Summertime lavender, you are sorely missed, but mark my words, I’ll be seeing you again next year!
