Cassis was part two of our first day exploring Southern France (you can read about part one in Aix-en-Provence here!) and we instantly fell in love with this little port town along the Mediterranean coast. I mean, those colorful sail boats, guys. Too cute. We wandered around and explored tiny streets, soaked up the sun and took a cruise to see the area’s famous Calanques – giant cliffs of limestone that drop straight into the sea below. It’s no secret that Brendan and I are big fans of beautiful coastlines, so the hour or two on that little boat was good for the soul. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we drove our way up a curvy road to an overlook WAY above the water and watched the sunset over our newest favorite place in France. Cue epic bump picture (I was about 23 weeks) that was never topped. We left saying that if we were to ever move to France, Cassis would be at the top of our list.
