North Carolina Family Photographer
If this sweet family looks familiar to you it’s because they’ve been in front of my camera before! The Nowaks vacation on Oak Island every summer and this was my second time meeting up with them for some family pictures during Golden Hour. I love seeing clients year-to-year because it is so fun to see their children grow! And be excited for new little ones along the way – baby girl #3 will be joining the Nowak fam soon! I loved their pictures last year, but these – I’m obsessed! The movement and light are just the sweetest. You’ll notice that most of my family sessions have very little posing and that’s intentional! Little kids usually can’t sit still or stand up straight for more than a few minutes at a time. Giving them space to run and play and dance lends itself to authentic pictures with lots of sweet moments in between. I feel like these pictures are such an honest portrayal of this family in this season, and that’s exactly what I want them to be.
