Carolyn and Bryan’s Lincoln Memorial engagement session was a big check on my bucket list! I have always wanted to shoot around the National Monuments, so when Carolyn said that the area was a meaningful location for them and they wanted their pictures there I was so excited! We met right at sunrise thinking we’d have the place to ourselves, but of course it was the same weekend as the DC Half Marathon! Neon-clad joggers were everywhere, but these two were unphased. We watched the sunrise over the Reflection Pond, took in the views from the Lincoln Memorial and explored Constitution Gardens before I finally ran out of film. It was the loveliest Sunday morning, and I’m so grateful to have shot in such a beautiful place!
Carolyn and Bryan, thank you so much for having me! I loved spending time with you two and can’t wait for your wedding next May!
