Where to begin with this family session – in a word, it was perfect. This sweet family owns one of my very favorite venues in NC, Morning Glory Farms. They were in the area for a friend’s wedding and decided to take advantage of the beauty of Oak Island (and the amazing weather we had on this evening!) to get some sweet family pictures! Maggie, one of the lovely mamas seen here, is a former film photographer, we geeked out a bit about film stocks (RIP Fuji 400H), Contax 645s and all things photography. I even managed to snap a picture of her husband in his element documenting the gorgeous sunset we had. There is so much movement and honesty to these pictures, which I’m sure you know by now, are my favorite things to have in a family session. They played in the sand, splashed in the waves, cuddled up close and showed off all the love they have for one another in these pictures.
This was the perfect end to my summer family sessions – so glad I got to meet y’all!
